Paste Paper

The fifth graders had fun creating some colorful paste paper. We mixed tempura paint with paper mache paste and used lots of different tools to make marks. We will be cutting these papers up and making a large collage for our art week.

They are on display in the main hallway at school and all the students enjoy looking at them.

Greek Vases

We made Greek vases with the 3rd graders and made columns to display them on. After looking at pictures of vases and practicing the Greek key patterns, students made their own with red and black scratch paper. They decorated the edges with patterns and then drew a picture or design on the body of the vase in the Greek style.
