Owl on a Branch
The fourth grade class talked about fall colours and painting with gouache. They created a fall foliage background and a collage owl on a branch.

Music Week
Music Week featured several collaborations with the Art and Music departments last year. During Music Week we moved the art classes down to the Library and the fourth grade students made their own rain sticks out of PVC pipe. In art class we designed covers for them.
When we finished painting, we attached the covers to the rain sticks and some of them were used in the school concert.

The China Museum
I took our second and third grade classes to the China Art Museum. For eight weeks we visited the museum and talked about the art we saw during the Museum Extracurricular Activity.
