The Ninth Wave

In October 2014 I took the 4th graders to the Power Station of Art to see Cai Guo-Qiang's exhibition The Ninth Wave.

They were very intrigued. This exhibit illustrates the current environmental crisis and references the artists traditional Chinese aesthetic.

The Bund Without Us, Cai Guo-Qiang
The Bund Without Us was created with gunpowder. The students enjoyed the exhibition and we talked about changes we could make to help the environment.
